They have scientific degrees and titles in five scientific areas: Fruit Growing, Breeding and Seed Production of the Cultivated Plants, Plant Protection, Land Reclamation (Irrigation and Drainage), Agrochemistry. The Institute maintains a germ-plasma collection of 1741 local and introduced accessions of the main fruit species.
